To all Patients,
We are pleased to announce that all Top End Medical Centres are now Bulk Billing practices, effective 1 November 2025.
This means that patients will no longer need to make upfront payments for standard consultations, health assessments and all Care plans.
Your visit will be directly billed to Medicare.
We remain committed to providing quality healthcare services that are accessible and affordable for our community.
Please note: Certain fees may still apply for non-Medicare services such as pre-Employment medicals, Fitness to Drive Medicals, procedures, Iron Infusion Procedures and travel vaccinations.

Are all the services bulk billed at Top End Medical Centre?
Yes, your consultation will be bulk billed. This means that patients will no longer need to make upfront payments for standard consultations, health assessments and all care plans. Your visit will be directly billed to Medicare.
Please note: Certain fees may still apply for non-Medicare services such as pre-employment medicals, fitness to drive medicals, procedures, iron infusion procedures and travel vaccinations.
What happens if I don't have a Medicare card?
If you have an up-to-date Medicare card, you should present it to reception every visit. If you have an expired, lost or misplaced Medicare card, visit your local Medicare office with some ID and they will issue a temporary receipt with your new Medicare number.
If you do not have these, we charge $70.00 for your visit. We accept Eftpos and cash only.
What if I fail to cancel an appointment or do not attend?
A $20.00 fee will incur for patients who fail to attend or do not cancel their appointment. This fee is payable at the time of the next consultation before seeing another doctor.
Do you do pre-employment assessments?
Yes, Top End Medical Centre is a one-stop-shop for your pre-employment examinations and assessments, with physical assessments and investigations all done at the one convenient location with same-day results. We will even forward the results to your future employer for you.
