- Trainee, Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM)
Dr Meike completed her Doctor of Medicine in 2020 at Flinders University NT, Darwin. She completed her internship and commenced her traineeship with ACRRM, completing 2 years’ medical training at Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals. During this time she completed the RANZCOG Certificate of Women’s Health (CWH). She also did 9 months’ training at Katherine Hospital and completed the ACEM Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC).
Dr Meike has lived in the Darwin rural area for 16 years. She is passionate about supporting patient autonomy and shared, informed decision-making in patient health care.
